Preparing for Dementia: Part 1

In this video Judy Cornish describes how the DAWN Method came to be and what it is. She explains what dementia is and how it is different from normal aging. Judy then covers how to begin to prepare for dementia through changing our expectations, focusing on the skills not lost, and acknowledging our grief over the inevitable losses we will face.
The good news is all is not lost to dementia, including the appreciation of beauty and kind companionship in the present moment.
